Spaying is the process of removal of the reproductive organs(ovaries and uterus) of female dogs and cats. It is the common term used for the surgical procedure of ovariohysterectomy. On the other hand ,Neutering stands for the surgical removal of male dog or cat’s testicles. Both of these operations are done under the influence of anesthesia. Your Dog or Cat might stay under the observation of the veterinarian for a few days. It totally depends on the size, weight and age of your dog.

Also, their highly aggressive nature because of high testosterone levels gets them into random fights with other dogs and cats on the road and wild. With testosterone levels down they won’t do such things.
Spaying and Neutering are also important to avoid unwelcomed pregnancies as it is the main reason of the current state of overpopulation of such domestic pets. Animal shelters are filled with animals and many of them are not even getting adopted hence, results being euthanized.
